Seahurst Elementary is one of about 50 elementary schools nationwide to be awarded a $10,000 nutrition grant to encourage kids to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Highline’s Nutrition Services department is pleased that Seahurst was awarded this grant for the second year in a row. Thanks to the grant, the Seahurst lunchroom features a salad bar every day.
