Get Inspired! New Futures Benefit Breakfast recently awarded $1500 scholarships to three teenagers to use to pursue higher education. Julio Gonzales Ortiz, an eighth-grader at Sylvester Middle School, was one of those recipients.

New Futures provides a place where young people are acknowledged and nurtured for the strengths and skills they bring to their community. The scholarships given at the New Futures Benefit Breakfast will enable three teens in this program to continue their development as role models.

The 2008 Get Inspired! New Futures Benefit Breakfast was held on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel, in downtown Seattle. (Read more at www.newfutures.org)
